The debate regarding how much liability coverage a person should own, has two sides to it. Most folks factor in the preservation and protection of their assets if they should have to deal with a lawsuit. But another factor is the obligation to the plaintiff or victim of the negligent act of the insured. Liability coverage tends to be much less expensive than property coverage because the frequency of losses are much lower.
This course is loaded with analogies agents can use to educate their clients about liability limits, including liability umbrellas. This online class is approved for 4 CE credits in MN.
