Ethics of Personal Claims Situations MN#1040386
Tuesday July 7th, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Modern technology is changing the way claims are being handled, and not always for the better. What do insurance consumers really need to understand once they have a loss. This course will review some of the most common problem areas from an ethics point of view, and what insurance professionals can do to mitigate the problems that are caused for claimants. Using analogies and real-life examples, we will discuss topics agents should, from an ethical standpoint, educate their customer about. Although the subjects covered in this course are not all inclusive, they are topics typically most problematic. This online course is approved for 4 CE credits in MN.
